15-17 april 2016

Fredag d. 15/4
Kl. 1700 – Dojoen åbnes.
Kl. 18:00 – Opstart på intensiv undervisning i basis mm.
Kl. 21:00 – Afslutter undervisningen.

Kl. 10:00 – Opstart på intensiv undervisning.
Kl. 13:00 – Frokost pause.
Kl. 14:00 – Intensiv undervisning fortsættes.
Kl. 17:00 – Afslutter undervisningen

Basic in Takatekote: 3 TK, TK Hojo, Gote, Tasuki and more.

Intensive Shibari Weekend – Part 3

6-8 marts 2015

Basis i Takatekote: 3 TK, Hojo TK, Gote, Tasuki mm.

Bemærk: Newaza/kommunikations teknikker: Generelt over weekenden tilfører vi alle bindinger

”Kommunikation/KI/Energi” delen (Ki Hairimasu)

To become a member of Copenhagen Shibari Dojo and receive daily lessons, it is a requirement that you have participated in the dojo intro evening.

The weekly training is based on the team and the couples educational level and experience in Japanese Kinbaku / Osada Ryu/Yukimura Ryu.

All new members in Copenhagen Shibari Dojo will receive training in our initial class in order to evaluate their skills and understanding before they can be assigned to other classes.

Currently, there are 4 classes at various levels. Each level has its own training schedule. Based on the schedule, you will be taught and trained both the theoretical knowledge and the practical skills.

This will ensure that the student is in continuous progress and fully understand the techniques – both the historical background and the contemporary use.

All Instructors at the dojo are all highly graduated and have years of experience in shibari and receive weekly training by the dojo Sensei Yukinaga Max.

All lessons are carefully planned. The instructors must ensure that all taught techniques are fully understood by each student before new techniques are practiced. It is essential that the techniques are mastered well before moving on to the next level as this ensures a very high level of security. Lessons are carried out in a relaxed pace and always with good spirit and a smile.

The instructor begins each lesson with a small ritual the same way they do in martial arts, as Copenhagen Shibari Dojo works as a Japanese Dojo.

We all sit down, clear the mind, and focus only on Kinbaku. In that way we can eliminate thoughts about everyday’s tasks and chores for a few hours

Be there in good time and be relaxed before you make your entrance into the gym. Follow the dojo etiquette and guidelines given to you by the instructor

An additional school system, “Yukimura Ryu” was introduced in 2011 authorized by Grandmaster Yukimura Haruki, Japan.

Today Copenhagen Shibari Dojo is visited by rope enthusiasts from around the world, and besides being a weekly training center; it is also the center of major international workshops and events.

The dojo has 70 regular members who receive weekly lessons divided into different classes and levels depending on the individual’s knowledge and skills.

Besides Yukinaga Sensei, we have 4 skilled instructors, all of which are highly graduated in Osada Ryu.

The physical as well as the mental environment is designed according to Japanese models. The rooms are nice and bright with Japanese windows and doors. There is a kitchen a living room, locker rooms, and most importantly, the gym. Also there’s a small bar where you can buy simple food and beverages. Overall a pure and wonderful atmosphere created by all the lovely people who comes here.

Husk tilmelding via vores hjemmeside: http://copenhagenshibaridojo.dk/

Gæstebillet: kr. 50,- (betales kontant ved indgangen)

Vi ses :o)

Portræt af Max雪長Yukinaga Max

Yukinaga is the Bakushi name Max was assigned by his 2 sensei, for having achieved a great understanding and mastering of Kinbaku.

Max has since 1995, together with his wife Tina, had a great interest in the authentic Japanese Kinbaku (in Danish called Japanese bondage)

Due to studies, workshops and seminars throughout Europe and a growing immersion into the Japanese segment, Max and Tina was presented to one of Japan’s largest bakushier (Japanese rope master) Osada Steve, who was Max’s first sensei.

Today, Max has 2 sensei: Osada Steve and Grand Master Yukimura Haruki. Max is Deshi (the priority student) for Osada Steve.
Over the years it has evolved into a deep friendship and a great mutual inspiration to all parties.

The friendship with Osada Steve and Yukimura Haruki has led to several stays in Japan and countless hours of hard training with some of the major Japanese Bakushier. Many hours of hard work is a prerequisite in order to achieve the full understanding and mastering of the ancient techniques.

This has naturally led to studies in history, culture, Japanese language and not the least a deep knowledge of the people in and behind the Japanese Kinbaku environment.

Learning the Yukimura way of rope play.

The Yukimura-Ryu, or Yukimura way of tying, is different from the hard, torturous sort of rope bondage that is called semenawa in Japanese. The Yukimura way of tying is a gentle, loving style of bondage that I call aibu no nawa (caressing rope) I have developed my style of tying to give the partner more stimulation and pleasure from the rope. Caressing rope is all about love, but don’t be fooled by the name: it is also diabolical.

Over the years, while teaching friends to tie, I have learned how to teach my style of tying in ways that are easy to understand. It is my hope that learning the Yukimura way of rope play will enrich your relationship with your partner and help you both find new ways to expressing your emotions and love.

“Caressing with rope” means to tie using your control of the tension on the rope to transmit your emotions to your partner. How much love can be expressed in the few square meters in which you tie your partner? How much anticipation can you create?

There are three essential elements in the Yukimura Way of Rope:

  1. Controlling the tension on the ends of the rope. (Nawa-jiri)
  2. The tie you select.
  3. Admiring and appreciating the pose in which you tie your partner.

Proper control of the ends of the rope involves use of the angle of the rope between you and your partner; the distance you place between you and your partner, and the tension you keep on the rope.

I use three types of ties: ties that change and evolve: ties that utilize an anchor point, and ties that do not use an anchor point. The best place for the “Rigger” to stand is either behind or next to the model. Please keep in mind that there are more than 100 possible positions.

Once you have learned the basics, please develop and enjoy you own style.

Proper appreciation takes into account the position from which you admire your partner, including the distance at which you position yourself. The way you speak to your partner during and after the tying is also very important. Do you whisper sweet words? Do you say things that will embarrass your partner? Do you utilize verbal humiliation?

In the Yukimura Way of tying you use all three elements to communicate and exchange emotions with you partner. There is no limit to the possible combinations once you have learned the basic foundation of Yukimura Ryu.

Yukimura Haruki.

Yukimura HarukiYukimura Haruki had already as a child a great interest in Kinbaku.

As a young photographer Yukimura soon began using rope art in his work, and his images and film was changing and became of a more erotic nature.

Over time Yukimura spent more time tying rope in front of a camera than actual photographing.

Today Yukimura is behind the production of at least 3000 Kinbakufilm and several Kinbaku books of a very high standard

In addition to his professional business, Yukimura also taught his friends in various techniques and taught them how to communicate with their partner using rope only. Yukimura developed a unique binding technique, which today is known as Newaza.

Within the last 10 years Yukimura has allowed a number of western people to obtain insight into these special techniques. In 2012, a workshop was held in Copenhagen Shibari Dojo. More than 50 participants from around the world were taught by Yukimura. It was the first time Yukimura was teaching outside Japan.

In Japan, Yukimura is a highly respected Bakushi. A Bakushi is a rope artist, and a large number of Japanese Bakushi’er (those known in the West) have all been passing through Yukimuras gym.

In Japan, binding techniques are used to generate “shame” on the bound partner. – Also called shuuchinawa. It is this special facial expressions characterized by humiliation and shame that the Japanese like – That’s why the undisputed king of shuuchinawa is Grand Master Yukimura Haruki.

Osada Ryu is a school system that has been developed by Osada Steve.

To gain access to the system for teaching purposes, you have to take extensive kinbaku lessons in Japan (at Honbu dojo), under Osada sensei. The system is built according to old teaching methods. It has its roots deeply planted in the martial arts methodology, as Kinbaku/Shibari is based on Hoshu Hojojutsu, which was one of the 18 skills a samurai should master.

Osada Ryu is structured in steps. The student will start from scratch with simple knots and techniques. In the initial phase, there will be a strong emphasis on safety and proper understanding. In order to advance to the next step, the student must pass a test. Osada Ryu contains 10 Kyu degrees and a number of Dan degrees. Each student starts as 10th Kyu and works towards 1st Kyu.

Each technique is practiced and as they are performed correctly and safely, they become more and more refined.

Osada Ryu contains only simple techniques that, when put together, becomes a greater whole. There is a strong emphasis on communication between the rigger and model, and the Newaza (Shuuchinawa) techniques are a big part of Osada Ryu, as Osada Sensei studies under “Grand Master” Yukimura Haruki. Osada Sensei is also a former student of Akechi Denki whose main style was Semenawa (torture-bondage), and therefore Osada Ryu is developed with elements from both Shuuchinawa and Semenawa.

Osada Ryu is not a rigid system, which many mistakenly believe. Osada Ryu is under constant development and is a road that never ends.

As a novice student in Copenhagen Shibari Dojo/ the teachings are predefined; this gives the student the best opportunity to practice all the basic techniques and become familiar with safety and history. The student will then be well under way creating his own foundation, based on Osada Ryu and all the facets that are contained in the system.

In the western World we are taught that communication is all about talking and writing which is of course a necessity when we need to pass on knowledge and information.

When it comes to close as well as erotic relationships we have a tendency to drown each other in words. Our communication becomes confusing and we speak instead of perceiving what it is the other person needs, and what we need ourselves.

In Japan, most communication takes place through perception, intuition, empathy, and understanding. Many western people have experienced that this is all very powerful tool in the erotic play with rope, and this is also one of the most important things we need to learn.

Basically Shibari is about: Non-verbal communication between two people only by the use of rope. To sense each other, to play with, to give us permission to let go …. And to have the courage to trust one another …… completely without words

Kinbaku or Shibari means – Tying, to tie, to be tied etc.

The word “Shibari” is an old Japanese word for “to tie” while Kinbaku is a more contemporary word used today. In addition, the word Kinbaku also refers to erotic bondage.

Shibari / Kinbaku is based on “Hoshu Hojojutsu”, which was one of the 18 war skills a Samurai were expected to master. “Hoshu Hojojutsu” is the learning of using rope to arrest, defeat, transport, and torturing prisoners.

Throughout history and studies of ancient Japanese hojojutsu / hobakujutsu documents, it is only the word Shibari that is being used. The word Kinbaku is not used in Japan until the early 1950, when Kinbaku were presented to the Japanese SM environment. The word Kinbaku is now widely used around the world and is used primarily about an erotic play between two people – only by the use of ropes.

Privattimer

Privattimer giver en unik mulighed for at lære one 2 one

Privat undervisning (One to One lesson)

Pris for Private undervisning: 2 timers intensiv: DDK 950, – ca. 130 Euro

Ønskes privat undervisning kontakt: nezumi_tatsudoshi@msn.com

Portræt af Max雪長Yukinaga Max

For mere information om Osada Ryu, se ryu’ens egen side her

Foto af OsadaOsada Steve, born in Germany is a Japanese kinbaku artist, stage performer, and educator. Until settling down in Japan, he has lived in various regions of Asia for almost half a decade.  Osada Steve developed a passion for Japanese rope arts, back in 1998, after taking up his old profession as a photographer in Tokyo, he started apprenticing Kinbaku and quickly became not only a close personal friend, assistent, and student, but perhaps, one may say ”nawa deshi” of the late Grand Master Osada Eikichi. Having resided in Tokyo for over 30 years and done Bondage since 1998, Osada Steve has learned the rope arts the truly hard way as a “gaijin” (foreigner), Osada Steve has become widely recognized both in and outside Japan as one of the worlds most skilled rope artists and evolving professional stage performers. By combining his many years of teaching experience from the martial arts with his vision to join up the traditional Japanese dojo environment in a system of learning the basics of Kinbaku, Osada Ryu was born. Osada Steve teaches Kinbaku to be an effective, yet safe way of ropes with his so far quite unparallelled schooling system. The Osada Ryu offers the student a both mindful, spiritual, entertaining and personally as well as technically challenging journey of learning the ropes. Though it may seem fairly simple, yet it took an “outsider” to join together the historic Japanese traditions to form af path of basic kinbaku learning. Osada Steve’s love and passion for Japanese tradition and combining the culture of both today and the past, seems reflected everywhere in his way of mastering the rope arts as we see him continously evolving and challenging his own skills. Because he seems to never stop evolving, he seems to always being able to challenge his students to go further and encourages them to find their own path and expression. As Osada Steve Sensei keeps studying further and digging even deeper into Kinbaku, his devotion seems to be powered by passion and eager curiosity with a clear and present benefit to his students worldwide, as Sensei gladly passes on his life’s achievements to people who may want to study with sufficient patience and respecting the basics. Osada Ryu enable students to find their own path over time by learning to challenge their skills and creativity through mindful practice and respititions thus systematically building a solid foundation of basic skills, and by adding personal reflection and understanding to the process. At Copenhagen Shibari Dojo we are proud and very greatful to have Osada Steve Sensei visiting us from time to time to pass on his latest achievements to instructors. For career highlights, see Osada Steve’s own website
